Tried out Second Life the other day.
I have to say that apart from the novelty of speaking a couple of strangers (in the US and Romania), my overall impression was that it all seemed a little pointless! Sure the fact that you can customise yourself, buy your own land, run businesses and the like is rather neat, but this is all in a virtual world and as such, isn’t really that exciting. Maybe as technology improves and the virtual world becomes that more realistic, this will appeal a little more. As for now, I think I’ll stick with my normal life.
Just recently rewatched the first series of Blackadder. I must say that it was a lot better than I remembered it. On my first viewing I always thought it was a huge disappointment when compared to series 2-4, mainly because Edmund was less conniving and more of a pathetic wimp, however, I rather enjoyed it this time round.
It seems like everyone is trying to predict the launch date for the Wii… We should (hopefully), know the actual date in around a week and half, but I thought I’d take a stab myself. My prediction? November 10th (if only just to spite me – i.e. a couple of days after my birthday)

Wii: that's pretty likely I'd say - it has to be before the 23rd November since that's Thanksgiving. My guess would be a week or two before that.
Blackadder: yeah, the first series is definitely different but still very good. My favorite is still Blackadder II, but followed closely by Goes Forth and then by The Third and the first series. They're all damn good.
We've been watching reruns of 'Not the Nine O'Clock News' on Paramount Comedy with Rowan Atkinson recently - the man is a genius!
And then there was Mr Bean ... and it all went downhill from there!
